THANKFUL FOR: THE STRENGTH OF STUTTGART

October 26, 2014Uncategorized

If there is one thing that I have learned from being at college, it is that I get my strength from Stuttgart and its people. In light of what happened yesterday I felt the need to express my love, support, and prayers to my friends in Stuttgart. Some of the worst things always seem to happen in small towns, but I think that it makes us and especially those involved much more cautious and strong. I did not really have a friendship with Cole, Jared, or Jackson, but I know they are loved by so many. My thoughts go out to there family. I can’t imagine having to go through the day they went through yesterday. I prayed so very hard for Cole and Jared especially. I was glad to hear that they are doing better. That is God showing us that yet again the power of prayer is amazing. People immediately took to social media to ask for prayers and I know if I was the one needing the prayers, that would possibly make the worlds difference. I know this is nothing to be thankful for, but even though the wreck was tragic, thank God they are alive and thank God for all the love and support they have surrounding them. I may not be in Stuttgart, but I can tell you from past experiences that the love is very much there and it is blazing. God give cole and jared strength. God give there friends and family strength. I pray that they come to you during this time and thank you. Oh how we all need to thank you! I know it is not easy, but this is the time God truly wants us to be thankful.
Friends, if any of you need me, you know how to find me. I am a phone call or text away. Do not worry, but be thankful that God was watching over these boys yesterday morning. Be thankful that he has a plan and be thankful that he loves us ALL.
I will continue to pray and be thankful… you should do the same.
I love Stuttgart and I love the strength it gives us all.
Yours Truly,
Southern and Thankful

Cade, I have been enjoying your posts since you started them, but never took the time to comment. You expressed so vividly what so many people are feeling! Keep the encouraging words coming and may God bless you and the three guys who need all our prayers!
