Yes, that’s right I said at HOME!!!! AHHH I cannot contain my excitement to be back at home for the holiday with the ones I love most. It has been a fun day celebrating Kisses birthday and I also got to see lots of friends and family members! I literally cannot explain how thankful I am for this time I am in. With all the excitement today, I went to vote with my mom and we realized that I could actually vote because I registered this summer! How funny is that? We discussed it and I went in ready to vote! I mean it wasn’t anything big, but it feels good to give your input and feel as if you are being heard. Voting is a freedom and it is sonething that allows Americans to be part of the decision making process. Those who chose not to vote and who then complain about the offices elected have no reason to even think like that. It makes no sense! It is not a hard process to vote and everyone should exercise that right. I know it probably seems like I am preaching to the choir because this is such a large issue, but it is true how important it is to vote. With that being said it is also important to be thankful to have the opportunity to do this. It is something in life that many of us take for granted daily, but when we are part of the process, we love it. I am just thankful I got to do this today for the first time at home! It was so exciting! Make sure you are able to vote and make sure you are thankful for voting and what it offers for this country. I know it would be a very different place without it. Thank you God for bringing me home with the people I love during the time I love… My heart is so full! Let the festivities begin and let the thanks poor out of us all… I LOVED TODAY!
Yours Truly,
Southern and Thankful
