You all already know that if I didn’t blog there of course is a good reason. You see yesterday I simply didn’t because it was way to late. Sometimes I feel like I don’t really appreciate the day when I haven’t really had time to think about it, but I will say that yesterday was a great day and I am so thankful for that! Yesterday, was a beautiful day in fort worth and it was also a very big day for TCU! I sure do love how my family now cheers for the frogs and with us having such a good season, they wanted to come to the game! Luckily, my Dad’s friend, Ed Pat, has a plane and they were able to come down for the day, spend some time with me, and watch a pretty awesome game! Mills (my brother), my Dad, Bia (my grandfather), my uncle Allen, and Ed Pat all came! It was a fun time! Of course we had to start out at Fuzzy’s because my family loves that place too much. Then we went to eat lunch at Dutches! The highlight of the day was probably taking them to my fraternity’s tailgate. I got to introduce them to some of my friends which I loved and Bia actually learned to play beer pong. This was VERY interesting and funny all at the same time! Also, he won the game and was a big hit… that is something I will never forget… See the picture below to really understand that moment for me… LOL! This was the first game that was at night and the theme was black out which was very cool. I liked the night game… The weather was NOT HOT which was prefect because the games typically are and TCU did a big tribute to breast cancer. This was really cool and it was amazing to see everyone who helped to make the fundraiser successful.

We won and overall it was a great day! The men in my family have always been such great role models and they have taught me a lot in life. I was so excited for them to come and experience game day with me. They are so supportive and they have made my life so great just by being in it. I am so thankful for all they do for me and others on a daily basis and I am so thankful they were here to see and spend some time with me. They are all pretty busy guys so it says a lot that they took time to come to fort worth and see me. I know everyone has people in there life that they love and look up to in many ways. I am taking time to be thankful for them right now and I hope that you will do the same because y’all know how important it it to be thankful. Especially, for the people that do the most! Remember that as you start the week… It can only make the week better!!
Keep me in your prayers this week because I do have a test on thursday and I really need to do good on it!
Let me know if there are any ways I can be praying for you and keep sharing Southern and Thankful on social media because it really does make a difference! Start out the week with Thanks; I assure you it will only go up from there! Until tomorrow!
Yours Truly,
Southern and Thankful
