Being Southern and Thankful from a happy home with a bright christmas tree and a burning fire. I am incredibly thankful! I started home yesterday and drove four hours to arkadelphia to celebrate Lauren’s 22nd Birthday… The awkward thing is that I told everyone she was turing 21. That just goes to show us all how fast time is passing! I then realized that I am 19 and things just got weird… I’m just gonna drop the subject now LOL. I am so thankful for Lauren and the role she plays in my life. She is the best sister and I am so thankful that God made us all one big happy family! I am also very thankful that things worked out so that I could be there. Thanks for letting me be part of your crazy life with all your cool friends and cool cloths. Also, thanks to BH for letting me stay with him. The beauty of Lauren going to OBU is that so does Stephanie!! I also enjoyed getting to see her and hang out with here and her friends. Thanks for giving me the grand tour of Arkadelphia and showing me what y’all do for fun! I was happy to stop and stay in at OBU because I got to celebrate, but I also got to break up the six hour drive. Today, I drove the other 2 hours home and worked at Coker Hampton all afternoon. Because it wouldn’t be Christmas until I put a little time into the family business! The best feeling all day was when I got to unload my car and put everything back in my closet and rest on the fact that it will all be staying there for a while! When I have been home at other times this semester, I have basically been living out of a suitcase, which is no fun! I kind of felt like I was moving out when I left TCU because I brought so much stuff, but you never know what you need, right? I am thankful to finally feel some Christmas cheer and finally have a break. I am thankful to be home and that is an understatement. Be thankful for home, wherever it is, this Holiday season. I cannot wait to sleep in my bed, watch Netflix by the fire, and just simply enjoy everything about this break!
Yours Truly,
Southern and Thankful
