Coming to you live from my last night in Brachman Hall. This is such a bitter sweet moment for me and everyone else, I know. I can remember the first night I was here laying in my bed, scared. I have come such a long way. That makes me so happy and sad at the same time. Tomorrow will not be easy, surprisingly. I move out at 10:30 in the morning and I ask for prayers. Prayers for safety and prayers for positivity as I leave my “home” and friends. I really can’t believe that it is going to be hard. I never would have thought that.
I didn’t have the chance to post yesterday because some of my friends and I made a last minute trip to Austin. We were literally there for less than 24 hours, but it was still so fun. I love Austin and we had fun exploring. Huge thank you to the Ross family for opening their home to us. It was a great way to celebrate the end of the semester with my friends! I got to see UT, Lake Austin, the famous “I love you so much” wall, and more. It was a great time.
Also, on Wednesday I found out the result from my test that I thought didn’t go very well. I just did not have a good feeling about it for some reason. It was math, which was hard for me in genernal, but for some reason it left me feeling very defeated. On Wednesday I found out that I got an 81 on the final and my grade only dropped one point. This was a much answered pray for me. I had prepared myself for the worst and got better than I could ever imagine. So thank you to those of you who prayed and thought of me during my finals. This semester could not have been any better was far was academics is concerned. I will be leaving TCU tomorrow feeling very accomplished…. That I am thankful for.
Arkansas, I will see you oh so soon!
