THANKFUL FOR: THE EXPRESSION OF A PHONE CASE

November 5, 2014Uncategorized

Fun Fact about Cade: When I was in junior high/early high school years, I had an obsession with iPhone cases. I am talking every time I would go to little rock, I would buy one. I think this obsession came from the obsession with moving my room. Once my mother forbid me from doing that anymore, I guess I had to move on to phone cases. I would always go to Little Rock with the Bells and for a while it was kind of a joke because I would literally buy a phone case every time. One, I learned that they are not cheep. I spent more money on those. I wish I wouldn’t have now that I think about it. Two, I learned that after you use them, there is really no good use for them. I currently have a whole box of old phone cases in my room. What a waste of time and money! Needless to say I have stopped buying them as often, but I do think that it is important to have a cool phone case. You know how some girls immediately look for a ring when they meet someone? I look at the phone case! I mean honestly, it says a lot about a person. For example, the brand can tell how classy they are. The otter box or life proof can tell they are cautious. The artsy one’s tell they are hipster or trying to be hipster. The ones with the quotes tell they are positive. The bright ones tell they are happy. The dark ones tell they are sad. The ones with no case tell you that they just are lazy, or they are risk takers…
I LOVE IT.
I have had an obsession with the Kennedy’s for a long time. Not the unhealthy phone case obsession, but the normal they interest me obsession. So when I was at there museum this past summer I got the coolest phone case. It is a real great conversation topic and it says a lot about me. I really like it, but after a while I just wanted a change you know? You see I also got a free phone case from Southern Proper (THEY ROCK) so I figured I would use it at some point. I really like it because it is very fall and very November. The picture below is of the new case… I hope you like it. It says a lot about my hometown and it says a lot about how being southern is a large part of me. I encourage you to look at phone cases more often. As the times change, things like this change also. I mean it is amazing the amount of people that say. “Oh you got a new case!” I am thankful for this change and I am thankful for the things in life that allow me to express myself. How do you find expression? Whatever it may be, I hope that you are thankful for it!
Also, pray for me as I work to make my schedule for next semester. It is hard and it is kind of scary. I just pray for guidance and support. I know I will get it… God never fails! Thanks friends!

Socks, Shoes, Hats, Rings, sunglasses, or even a phone case can be used to express YOU. No matter what it is, use it daily and be thankful that God gives us that freedom of expression. It is something that I love and I don’t know what I would do without. It is up to you… Express how you choose and… BE THANKFUL.
Yours Truly,
Southern and Thankful
