BEFORE YOU JUDGE: I really encourage you to read it.
I once went to his concert when he was like 16 years old and it was full of screaming girls. I liked his music then.
When he made some stupid decisions and went through a rough time I had decided I was definitely not a fan anymore. I mean we all make stupid choices, but what I realized is that his were in the spotlight. I make stupid decisions all the time, but the difference between mine and his is that his are constantly captured on camera for the whole world to see.
I am not going to sit here and try to make you a belieber (see what I did there… HAHAHA), but I am going to give you the link to this story and I HIGHLY encourage you to read it. It is well worth it whether you are a fan or not. Justin has obviously been though some things, but what matters most is that he has realized who to rely on: Christ our Savior. He talks about finding confidence through God, which I think is very cool. There is a little bad language that I am not a fan of, but bad language is a hard habit to break.
I am not making a case for Justin or trying to justify his wrongs, I am simply saying this brings me some joy. Celebrities have such an opportunity to speak God’s word and do his work in this world. Often they become so confused with themselves that they forget to do this. I love that Justin has found God’s love and is now speaking about it. It is very encouraging. He has millions of fans and all those fans are reading what he is saying and I guarantee he is changing lives in a way he never thought he could. I think that is pretty cool. You may think this is a PR stunt, but I am saying in my opinion it’s not. This is something that you can’t fake. This shows me that God’s work is everywhere in everyone. This article is so cool and inspiring to me. Please read it if you have time!! Thanks for being a light to so many Justin. You may not be Southern, but you are SO thankful… I love that!!
“It’s a confidence that’s a godly confidence. That’s what I always want. I wanna be loved for being a good dude and for being confident in myself because I know who I am and what I carry and what I sacrifice.” -Justin Bieber
