Ask anyone you know and they will probably tell you that a bow tie is harder to tie than a normal tie. I know it sounds silly, but it is! A lot of people actually wear clip on’s because they do not know how to tie an actually bow tie. With this being said, I am thankful that I know how to tie a bow tie. I have always loved the boy tie because it is different. I have never liked to be typical or average like a lot of other things in life… I like to stand out! I have always worn bow tie’s, tied by my dad, because that is simply my style. Everyone has there own individual style and whether you like it or not, it tells a lot about you! I am glad the bow tie is part of my style! Recently, my dad taught me how to tie a bow tie because it was about time that I learned. I didn’t want to learn because everyone said it was so hard. I think this is typical in life, at least for me it is. When we hear of something that is hard or not fun we don’t want to do. It is a characteristic that I hate, but that is when we have to realize that with God all things are possible. This example, of course, is on a much smaller scale, but it is definitely relatable. I am glad that I finally learned because it really isn’t that hard in my opinion! You will never know the real outcome of something unless you try yourself! I love the bow tie and I am thankful for this little lesson it has given me. I bring this up today because this week is initiation week for my fraternity which is so cool! As part of tradition, they want us to dress in suits when we go to class and things! This symbolizes how far we have come and let’s people know that we are successful! We do not have to, but the men before us have so why shouldn’t we? Plus, when you get to rock a cool bow tie it isn’t that bad! If there is something you want to accomplish or try, go for it! The worst you can do is fail! I know it is easier said than done, but remember that God is always with us and he has so much faith in us… Remember to have faith in him and in having faith… Give thanks!
