So guys I was really not looking forward to today after the great long weekend, but shockingly it was a pretty easy day. I didn’t start class today until 12:30 which I like because I can get up at a nice time and do some studying before I start the day. I have always liked studying in the morning because I feel more refreshed and what not. Anyways, my friend April and I have that class together so we walked in and got ourselves ready for class to start when the professor says, “Okay so I never do this, but I left my powerpoint at home and I have been having major dental problems all weekend so I am canceling class today.” *que all the excitement!
I mean how lucky is that? I don’t think anyone could believe it honestly. Luckily April was kind enough to let me come back to her dorm because my dorm is so far away from everything. So that was super great because that just gave me more time to study and do things that I had to do. As April and I are both studying, she jumps up and says, “Cade they are giving out free snow cones in front of Foster. I love snow cones. COME ON!!!” We literally hurried out of the building and sure enough there was a snow cone truck giving out free snow cones. Now, I understand class getting cancelled, but what are the odds that they would be giving out free snow cones when we would typically be in class? Needless to say, it was beyond perfect timing. The snow cones were pretty good and that is pretty much how my day went. I also had a class that was supposed to go from 3:30 to 6:10 and we got out at 4:35. What a day I tell ya! Days like today just assure me that God is looking out for me. I had a lot to do and I was kind of stressing, but somehow that was all made better. If God wasn’t at work, I don’t know what was. Trust in him and everything will always end up okay. This is just a prime example of that! I am so thankful for his timing and that he helps me get through what I thought would be a difficult day. Easy days are the best and I am over the moon thankful for a day like today. In the words of April Van Anglen, “Best day of college so far!!”
