Anyways because we were missing the normal amount of tour guides many of us had to do the tours alone. I have never done a tour on my own. I like having a partner because when you have someone else the two of you can usually work together to cover everything that visitors need to know! Last semester I remember I was so scared to do a tour alone, but you know what they say… practice makes perfect. For a second when I found out I was giving a tour alone
today I was waiting for myself to freak out… I waited… I waited some more…. But I never really freaked out. Could be because I exhausted all of my nerves yesterday(Sunday) during the slating process or it could be because I know what I am doing when it comes to giving tours! I think I was actually kind of excited to give it alone for the first time because I was completely in control! My group was kind of big, but I was still really pleased with how everything went. I really hope they enjoyed the tour!Hard to believe I started giving tours at the beginning of 2015 and now the year is almost over. I have so many great memories from giving tours! And with that being said I look forward to many more in 2016!
I hope you all felt confident about something you did
today! I am telling you it makes a world of a difference! That is something to be thankful for this Monday!#THISISWHYISTUFO
