Please excuse my absence over the past couple of days… You see on Halloween, I had safe rides and I did not get in until after 3 therefore, I didn’t feel up to typing my blog… No worries, I was still thankful! Safe Rides is a program that my fraternity does to unsure that all the members are able to get home safely. Everyone is encouraged to do it one night. I was asked to do Halloween. If I really did not want to do it I could have gotten out of it, but I mean I figured there was a reason God wanted me to take on this task! I was pretty bummed because as a mascot, I love Halloween, but then I realized that I would be doing the right thing by helping others… Especially on such a big night like Halloween. Huge shoutout to my friend Neely who rode with me the whole time. She did not have to do that, but the fact that she did was so so nice. We had lots of fun and lots of laughs. It would not have been the same without her. So thank you Neely! I appreciate it so much!! Overall it was a fun, different, night! I am glad that I was able to do something meaningful on Halloween!
Today, I enjoyed resting and watching the TCU and razorback game. Both were very good games, and the TCU game almost gave me a heart attack, but it was pretty fun. I am so glad it is finally November. I did not really like October that much. It just wasn’t my month. I am excited for a new month with new weather and new fun! I hope you all had a happy Halloween and I hope you remember to be thankful for the things in life that may not always be what we want, but the things that God has for us. He does know best! I am always thankful and this month should bring lots of thanks. Even a thankful Holiday! Oh am I excited!! Thankful I am!
