What’s pomping you may ask? If you have ever stuffed tissue paper into chicken wire, then you my friend have pomped! The only time I have ever pomped was in high school when working on the homecoming float. I just thought my days of pomping were over… TCU also does a homecoming parade so this year I will not be missing out. I am kind of glad because I loved the fun times working on the float with my friends over the years. Here, it isn’t quite as big of a deal, but it still is fun. At TCU we panther with a sorority and make the float. This year Beta is partnered with Chi Omega and Alpha Delta Pi! I enjoyed taking a break this afternoon and going to pomp with some of the coolest girls on campus. Some people may not think this is fun, but it beats studying LOL. The homecoming parade is on friday and I can’t wait to see what the finished product looks like. Man how I love homecoming. It is just such a happy time!
Also, prayers are needed because I am about to start the second round of college exams and I have lots of work to get done. Just think of me as I face this challenge head on.
Other than that this weekend should be fun and life here at TCU is moving faster and faster! My fingers may be a tad sore, but hey I would say that pomping is well worth the pain. I am thankful for memories, like pomping, that I will never forget. I hope you all had a great day and I hope you all stop at some point and enjoy the things in life that make the best memories. Don’t let it pass by! Until tomorrow remember to be southern and thankful no matter what!
Yours Truly,
Southern and Thankful
