“What year are you?” I said,
“Uhhhhhhhhhh.. I’m a Fresh…Sophomore.”
(HAHAHA)
Yes, this is when I realized I am actually not a Freshman anymore. Nothing is wrong with this, but at the same time it is just another adjustment. I have learned how to handle adjustments VERY well. No worries, I now realize that I am a Sophomore. In light of this realization, I have really been looking back at all the great things I have gained from my first two semesters. I am so thankful for my friends that support and encourage me, and also happen to be my brothers. I didn’t really realize this until I came back and things were different!
I want to give a shoutout to Michael, Landon, and Chris. One, because we cooked a bomb meal the other night. I mean we are some pretty good chefs, if I do say so myself! Two, because I am so proud of them and the mark they are making on this campus. They are all such great guys and I feel so honored to call them brothers and friends. Thanks guys, for making life here at TCU so fun and memorable. Thanks also for simply including me and making me feel loved. It’s a Monday and I felt like showing you some #southernandthankful love! Thanks for being my boys!
I may not be a Freshman anymore, but the things I have taken away from Freshman year are making this whole being a Sophomore thing worth it.
See the good in life and be thankful for it. Especially on a Monday because I promise it will put the whole week in perspective. Happy Monday!
Yours Truly,
Southern and Thankful
