“It is an academic event on campus that celebrates the new academic year and opportunities the year offers to the TCU community.” Got this straight from the TCU Instagram account. It sounds like yet another great way TCU cares for its students on campus. I don’t have any involvement in it but I know it is a cool thing to be involved in. I am telling you all this to let you know that students love this day whether they are involved or not because usually a majority of classes are cancelled. I was supposed to have three classes today. Two got cancelled and one got out early. Now you know why TCU students love this day.
It has been so nice to have some extra time today to get things done. I am always thankful for some extra time. That being said, I want to ask for prayers. Sophomore year is going great but it is also bringing on struggles that freshman year did not. Getting back in the swing of things is hard. I am also missing a lot of things about Freshman year. I am just praying that God will really start to take over. I am still at that stage where I am wanting all sorts of things to happen but I can’t make them happen. I have to sit back and watch God’s plan. I just have a lot of worries. That is one of the hardest things for me. I just am going to continue praying that God will guide me and help me to do my best everyday. I am really not stressed. I am just looking for answers in the wrong places.
God, please help me walk down your path. Please give me the strength and confidence. Thanks for loving me and being my constant companion. I am extremely blessed.
