Everyone has an opinion and it is so funny to me, the things some people say. I’ll ask for someone’s opinion and then when I don’t like it I always laugh at how ironic that is. If I could have made the decision on my own I wouldn’t have even had to go through that, right?
Anyways, everyone talks about how great college is, but no one tells you how many decisions you have to make. Now you see my dilemma.
Today I am super thankful for Kim Bethea and her advice. She always answers my calls even when she knows that there is a 70% chance I will be stressed and take it out on her. Thanks mom, for always answering my calls.
Tonight after I called and got some of your super good advice, I realized I never really ever thank you for answering those not-so-fun calls. Let’s keep in mind that I am seeing her tomorrow, but you know me… this just couldn’t wait. A parent’s advice is usually advice we don’t want to hear, but it’s always advice we need to hear. Sometimes that is hard for them and us, but it sure is something to be thankful for. We are better people because of it. Thank you mom, for loving me and filling me with constant encouragement. Seriously don’t know what I would do without you!Prayers for my family and all the other TCU families that are making their way to Fort Worth this weekend for family weekend. I cannot wait to see mine!!
Thankfully I have someone who provides me with the best advice. Those who know you best will provide the best advice. That is something I am learning to be thankful for! Love you lots Mom!
Yours Truly,
Southern and Thankful
