I always seem to joke about how he is the athletic one in the family. He is most certainly the athletic one, but I love that he is because that is a definite gift from God and he uses it better than anyone I know. There is not one single time of the year that the kid is not involved in some type of physical activity. Talk about using the gifts God gives us, huh?
I also have to brag because last week he had his first week of high school. Typing this has also made me realize how fast that time goes by. Anyways I think he had a great first week and he is also the new freshman class president. WHAT!! I would have never had the confidence to run for something like that in my first year of high school. But I did work up the courage to run senior year and I was president so I guess it just runs in the family!
I could not have been blessed with a better brother. We are very different, but at the same time too similar. Today as I worked tirelessly to move in, all I wanted to do was binge watch Criminal Minds with you, bud! I am sure we will find some time soon. I hope you had a day full of all your favorite things. I also hope you enjoyed shopping in my closet today because I am afraid I won’t allow it any other time this year. (LOL).
It is very weird being away from home on someone so close to you’s birthday. This time last year I remember being so upset. This year is bittersweet, but I know this is where we are all supposed to be right now. We will have plenty of time to celebrate another day!
I hope the cake was good and that your 15th year is even better!! Thanks for being the best little brother, Mills. So glad I decided to keep you all those years ago (hahaha)! Happy Birthday Brother! Love you so so much!!
Yours Truly,
Southern Thankful
