So many changes:
-having to learn to study
-having to adjust to living with someone
-having to go to class on your own
-having to make friends
-having to get your own meals on your own time
-having to spend money on a limit
-having to learn patience while living in the same small room as someone else
-having to deal with missing those you love
-having to deal with the worry and stress that is college
The list for this school year could literally go on and on. It’s been a great experience that you will probably hear me dive deep into over the next month as I finish. My point of this little rant is to prove that I am ready for a LONG break. Just when I was ready to give up on Monday, God sent me mail… He does this a lot… Funny how that happens!
The idea behind the lokai bracelet is that each lokai (beed) is infused with elements from the highest and lowest points on Earth. The bracelet’s white bead carries water from Mt. Everest, and its black bead contains mud from the Dead Sea. These extreme elements are a reminder to the wearer to live a balanced life – staying humble during life’s peaks and hopeful during its lows.
I ABSOLUTLY LOVE THAT.
Such a smart idea and such a way to keep constant as we go through life.
Here is the link if you want to look into one… It really is a great reminder!
I love mine and I have a feeling you will love yours! It is something I am happy to be thankful for as I finish freshman year!
Stay Humble. Stay Hopeful. Stay thankful.
Yours Truly,
Southern and Thankful
