I would just like to first say thank you. The love and support I have received today from my friends, family, and readers has made my day. I always enjoy seeing who reads my stuff… I thank those of you who reached out to me and those of you who have prayed for me. It means so much knowing that I am not in this alone. Luckily, my afternoon class was cancelled, allowing me plenty of time to study and I am so SO thankful for that. A lot of things in life are crucial for me right now and it is hard with the pressure, but I must say that I am thankful to know that God has a plan for me. I do not understand or know what that is, but just having faith and knowing that he has me is something that is keeping me so comforted, along with having the love and support from you all. When I got back to my dorm last night I opened my bible to a random page and the verse Psalm 25:1-11 came up. I really like my bible because at the bottom it kind of gives you like a mini lesson. I will say I have not always been faithful to my bible because I was always used to a bible at the church or the bible on my phone that I never really needed mine. After to coming to TCU, where I am not in contact with the bible as much, I realized that I need MY bible now more than ever. It is funny because that is what the passage in my bible says. It says that we should ask for God’s guidance. The first step: look in the word, The Bible. How weird is that?
Today, I am thankful for God and his guidance. He is guiding me down a path that is very unfamiliar, but I pray and have faith that it is all going to work out… It’s his plan. I know it will! I am also thankful for you all because without you this path I am on would be very very scary. It is scary, but not as bad when I read comments or texts that make me want to cry they are so sweet. I also appreciate that you take the time to read my blog. Those two things that you do for me everyday makes the most thankful guy in the world.
Prayers tomorrow at 12:30 because I have a test then and I really need to do my best. Also, prayers for me as a try my hardest to follow God’s path and as I try to deal with the pressure of college.
If you ever have anything you want me to pray about, please comment below and I would love to do that for such a loyal reader.

Be thankful always for God’s guidance… He is the placing us right where we need to be, that I know for sure!
Yours Truly,
Southern and Thankful
Gods guidance is always there even in the midst of unfamiliar things and situations. Do you remember how scared you were the first time you read or served at mass during your Holy Rosary days? I remember all of you guys saying that wasn’t bad and was kinda fun. Your journey now is similar to those days only in a more grown up version. Follow the path you are on and keep God close and one day you will see that this isn’t so scary and is really fun. Now go conquer your day !
