THANKFUL FOR: GIVING BACK AT TCU BOO

October 28, 2014Uncategorized

Today, I had the opportunity of volunteering at TCU BOO. This is an event TCU puts on for the facility and there children. It was a huge event in the commons with tons of fun booths and inflatables. I was in charge of the two story castle inflatable and it was a pretty fun time! It reminded me a lot of the good ole FUMC halloween carnivals. I am thankful that I got to give back in such a fun way. This post kind of goes along with yesterdays, but I wanted to express my thanks for this event and everyone who made it possible. Giving back is very important. It is important for the obvious reasons, but really it is our job as Christians to love and serve. At the end of the day, the person who benefits the most from giving back is yourself. It is such a rewarding feeling, one that you should shrive to have everyday. Give back to help others, but mostly to help yourself. Be thankful for these opportunities!
I have a STUFO interview tomorrow at 11 and I would love prayers! It is something I would love to be part of if God has that in my plan! For those wondering, I feel good about my test that I had today and I really appreciate the prayers and the support.
Also, I would love for you all to share my posts on Facebook, or even re-tweet them on twitter. The more people that see this, the more people who are impacted by Southern Charm and thanks. I would SO appreciate if you did that. It would make me so happy to know I am doing the most to help others. I am given numbers based on who reads and views my posts. I am amazed by the numbers this far, but I want to see them increase! I would love the help!
Do your best to give back… It is our job and it is a job that only has positive results… Why wouldn’t you? YAY THANKS!
Yours Truly,
Southern and Thankful

I get to read your posts when someone shares with me. I know your Mother and my son lives in Stuttgart. We have been friends of the Almonds, Terri and family for years. Lois Ann

Hey There

Blessed is an understatement when it comes to my life. Each and every day I am amazed by God’s steadfast love. In return, I have claimed this space to show my thanks and whatever else comes along the way. A recent graduate from Texas Christian University who loves pop culture, TikToks, and dress pants that make you do a double take.  I pray God has a grand purpose for me and I plan to get there with a little Southern and a lot of Thanks! Join me!

Yours Truly,
Southern and Thankful
