I want to thank them for being constant encouragers, riding in a car for a total of 12+ hours, and going above and beyond to make this a wonderful weekend. Having seven people easily made me the person with the most family members, but I loved every minute of it. It is really funny trying to keep us all together. It is almost like follow the leader. You can only imagine!
Yesterday was full of horned frog football, lunch with friends, and a large tailgate. But I loved getting to introduce my family to all my friends and their families. So much fun! You can always tell when the family gets on campus and I love it!
I am a little disappointed in TCU though. I have a tour
tomorrow morning, an accounting test right after, another test on Tuesday, and and essay due on Thursday. What poor planning that is in my opinion. The sad thing is that I am not the only one. I just hated it because my family was here and I wanted to be enjoying time with them, but in the back of my mind I always had the thought that I needed to be studying. I am thankful that it was a great weekend despite all that! With that being said, prayers would be greatly appreciated. All these tests are my first in these classes so I am unsure of how the teacher tests. I really don’t know what to expect, which is probably the hardest part. I am trying to remain calm, but I am freaking out just a tad. I would love prayers for sure!
What a fabulous weekend it was and what a fabulous family I have! That is one thing God will always know I am thankful for! Hope you all have a great week and don’t forget to be #southernandthankful!
Yours Truly,
