So I meet them at the hotel where the restaurant was located and valeted my car for the first time! Very exciting moment for me… Hillary Dunklin would be so proud! We then went up to the 27th floor of this hotel and the restaurant was fabulous looking, but so was the view. Glass all the way around with Dallas as the backdrop. I mean it kind of looked like a place a couple would go to on a movie. Such a great place! It is called “Sir” and I highly recommend that you go sometime. The food is great, but the view makes it all 10x better. I had a steak with some sides… I am so full now. It was a great meal to kick off this little trip to big D! Knowing that there is so much bad in this city, but looking out and seeing how pretty and bright it is, gives me hope. It lets me know that God is here and God is working in Dallas. Every city and every place has the bad parts of town or the bad stories that we hear, but seeing this view gave me hope that our world is improving. Now, is it really improving? I don’t know that awser, but at least now I have hope that it one day will. Take time and look at the view in life. Sometimes it isn’t the best, but it can tell you a lot about your life at that moment. I loved this meal. I love this restaurant. I loved my company. I loved the view! I am so thankful for all that the view can tell us and all that the view provides in life. It isn’t everyday you get to take in something so beautiful that tells you so much. I wish I had a picture that did the view justice, but that is how you know it is a true view. A true view tells us a lot about life and we could never get that in a a picture… it is so rare. Thank you God for life telling views!
Yours Truly,
Southern and Thankful
