Needless to say, it was a fun time with good food and fun company. This was also the seniors last STUFO event and what a fun way to end their time here. Every time we have an event I am always reminded how lucky I am to be in such a phenomenal organization with such incredible people.
Huge thank you to the chancellor and his family for opening their home, providing a yummy meal, giving gifts, and making each one of us feel known and welcome. I do not know about other universities, but I don’t really ever hear any of my other friends talk about having dinner with the chancellor at his own home. Pretty cool, huh? Just another reason why I am in love with this university.
It was also cool getting to tell the chancellor a little bit about Southern and Thankful. He said he also journals almost every day, which is fun. I encouraged him to write his own blog (lol).
I wish I could elaborate more on the night, but I have to quickly finish a 15 page paper and turn it in. Prayers prayers prayers because I have a few too many things due this week. I am on the downhill side now and I am thinking that is something to be thankful for!
Yours Truly,
Southern and Thankful
