It is finals week at TCU and I some how managed to fall asleep last night, on accident, before I posted. I always get so frustrated when that happens because I really do like to post lol. Anyways, yesterday I was so thankful for dead days. I mentioned them in an earlier post, but dead days are basically days where there is no class. It is basically the school telling you to study for finals! So dead days were Thursday and Friday and then technically, finals start on Monday. Thanks to my professor, I actually got to take a final early so yesterday I took my first college final. I would say it went good… It could have gone much worse. One thing I am learning, is that unlike high school, you don’t really know whats going to be on the tests. You study as much as you can and as hard as you can and you pray what you studied is on the test. When you are going through the tests and you have those questions that you immediately know the answer to, that is such a great feeling! In return though, you can expect there to be questions that you have no idea what the answer would be, you then make the best guess and move on. I am not a very good test taker, but I am getting better! I will be anxious to see my grade, but no matter what, I know it is all in God’s hands. Thank you to those of you have texted and/or prayed for me. I appreciate that so much!
The good news is, some how by the grace of God, that was my last physical final. I had two early finals last week, a final project, and then I have one online final on Monday…. I AM ALMOST DONE. I can’t even begin to express my excitement!!! I really feel bad for all my friends who are so overwhelmed with finals and I am so thankful for the way mine worked out! Yesterday, I also went to a STUFO training session because I will be starting to give tours shortly after I come back from Winter Break! Isn’t that so exciting?
A little study here. A little fun there. That combo never hurt anybody!
I want to remind you all how important it is to be thankful during this season. It is such an amazing time of year, but you all know how fast it goes! Don’t let it pass by without being thankful! You will be glad you did!
Happy Weekend! Happy Dead Days! Happy Finals! Happy Cade! Happy Happy Happy… oh and THANKFUL!
Yours Truly,
Southern and Thankful
