Do you see why my day started out crazy?
I don’t care what I have going on, I always love Monday’s at TCU!! They are so fun. This was my first tour of sophomore year so I was super pumped to be back at it! I had such a fun co- tour guide today and a nice sized group of students and parents eager to learn more about TCU. I love that!!
I was also pretty excited because I had a familiar face in my tour group today! A family friend of our’s and her husband and son were in my group! I was so happy to show Mrs. Amy, Mr. Bobby, and Jacob around my home away from home. I think this was actually my first time having someone I knew as part of my tour group. So exciting!! I also have to thank Mrs. Amy because she reads my blog everyday and I can’t think of anyone better to have showed around campus today! Needless to say GO FROGS!
In the excitement of Monday at TCU, I almost missed my test. I can’t even begin to describe the 12 minutes I had to get from one side of the campus to the other. Reminds me why I never took up running as a hobby. It was awful. I got to the class one minute before the test. One minute. I can barely breathe at this point and I reach down to get my, of course, empty water bottle. At about that time, my professor says to put everything away and hands out the tests. After reading the first question a good 10 times I decided I better take a second to catch my breath and then focus. For a second there I thought that was going to be the end of me. Right there in accounting, ironic huh?
After a pretty hard test and some water I went and sat in on the student panel, picked up a care package from Vineyard Vines (SO COOL), and proceeded to study the rest of today for my test tomorrow. Prayers for a better test tomorrow! I just can’t wait to be test free.
Even on my craziest days I am always reminded of how blessed I am. I mean I thought running across campus was bad, but it could have been worse. I mean imagine doing all that in a wheel chair. Count your blessings my friends… even on the craziest days!
Yours Truly,
Southern and Thankful
