THANKFUL FOR: BEING UNDER THE WING

Friendship is one job that I have always taken very seriously and in my life this far I have made some pretty special friends. Every one of my friends are special to me for one reason or another and that is why I love my friends. It is so weird to see how God places people in your life for certain reasons. When I started out in Junior High I was also moving from private to public school, which was very scary. It has a VERY similar feeling to starting college. Not knowing really anyone and being completely scared. Emaly, Darby, Haley, and Hannah were some of the first people to “take me under their wing” when I started public school. They will never know how thankful I am for them. It makes me very sad to think that I won’t have them to keep me under that wing as I start this new chapter. This time though, I am not the only one who will be seeking new friendships… we all will. I can’t imagine not having Haley to cheer me up. I can’t imagine not having Hannah to tell everything to. I can’t imagine not having Emaly to explain to me everything that I don’t understand. I can’t imagine not having Darby to keep me sane at the end of the day. I will miss my friends more than they know, but boy I am excited to what they do in life. I want to thank you girls for putting up with me, (its a task, trust me), for loving me, and for putting me under your wing. I love you and will always be thankful for our friendship until the end. “I will see you when I see you!!”
I am a firm believer that God puts people in your life for a reason. I am going to take advantage of that as I start school and I know I will make different friends that are just as great. Be thankful for these people he puts in your life. You never know who will turn out to be a friend.
Thank you girls for helping me learn to fly. You are oh so precious to me.
