THANKFUL FOR: AN NFL CELEBRATION

December 28, 2014Uncategorized

I am so tired I can barely keep my eyes open, but I cannot let this day go by without sharing my thanks. Today was a wonderful day!!! It was an exciting day and it was a day of celebration. The celebration was in honor of my parents because today they have been married for 23 years… Isn’t that awesome? They are such a great example and I only hope that I will be able to share a love with someone the way they do! They are an awesome light in my life and I owe them everything. I am thankful they got married and fell in love because they were then able to make a wonderful family for me to grow up in! Kind of like a domino effect… You get me? No matter what, I am thankful for there 23 great years and many many more!

To celebrate this great achievement, we started the day with a great bunch and then went to the Denver Broncos game! This is the excitement I earlier referred to! Some of us were more excited than others, but I was just excited because I had never been to an NFL game ever. I really like college football and it was pretty cool experiencing a different league! Some might not think there was a differnce, but to me the NFL is a whole other world. Also, when attending football games I never really have to worry about it being freezing cold.

Side note: I am very thankful for my Colarado friends that I have made. S/O to Caitlin Kearney for giving me a heads up to dress warm at the game… I can’t imagine what it would have been like if she hadn’t of helped out! Thanks;)

2 pairs of gloves, 2 pairs of socks, 3 shirts, 2 jackets, 1 hat, and a couple of other things later, I was as puffy as a chetto and ready for the day! In the back of the mind I knew no matter what all I put on, I’d still be cold. Yep, I was right! It didn’t really get to cold until the fourth quarter, but hey it was worth it! What an awesome experience! I would also like to add that I had pretty great seats! The Broncos won and all in all it was a great day to celebrate my parents and marriage! I am so thankful for the experiences I have been given in my life, the love my parents have for eachother, friends all over the place, and the fact that I didn’t turn into a block of ice. God truly is present in my life and he makes it all so wonderful! Until more fun tomorrow, go BRRRRRRoncos!

Yours Truly,

Southern and Thankful
