You always hear that people do the most spontaneous things in college. These spontaneous moments make some of the best memories! All day today I wanted to have one of these moments. I was not really sure how, but I was determined. Here at TCU I have always heard people talk about the view from the top of the stadium. I saw that my friend posted a picture from the top of the stadium and I got in touch with her because that was just the adventure I was looking for!! So long story short, I kinda sorta snuck into the stadium! It was so awesome. For those of you who don’t really know my personality, I would never take a risk like this. I mean they have never told us not to come go in the stadium, but they also never encouraged it. I mean I was kinda scared… I heard a guy on a golf cart and I literally started running… That just shows you the type of person that I am! So once I climbed to the top of the stairs it was one of those AHHHHHH moments. You can see everything from there. The field, the campus, and the whole city of fort worth, right there. It is breath taking! I mean honestly how cool is that? It is probably one of those things that you have to see to really understand. The pictures defiantly don’t do it justice! The weather was chilly, but honestly just right! There were small groups of people all over the stadium. So if we yelled “GO” someone somewhere would yell “FROGS.” It was so cool. It is also really cool to think about how it was so quiet and peaceful and how tomorrow it will be a mad house. That was probably the coolest thing to me! I am thankful for the best adventures that this time in my life has to offer. We all can have adventures… We just have to push a little to find them. I encourage you to be adventurous. It is one thing in life that is free and it is one thing in life that makes life exciting. I am thankful for times likes these because they make the best pictures and they also make the best memories. I can’t wait to go back sometime! Be adventurous, but along the way, remember to give a little thanks to the big man up stairs… Life wouldn’t be the same without him! Oh how I am thankful for a good adventure!
Also, to those of you who are taking the time to share this blog. I love you. I can not put into words how much it means to me! Please keep sharing and please keep being thankful! I LOVE YOU. I AM THANKFUL FOR YOU.
Yours Truly,
Southern and Thankful
