I apologize for not posting yesterday. It was a great day, but I woke up not feeling to great and then last night I felt awful and went to bed pretty early. If I didn’t post that just goes to show you how bad I am feeling. Luckily, I am feeling a little better today! Yesterday, I was so excited to see the one and only Hannah Oliver! AHHHH I was so excited! I wish I was feeling a little better because I wasn’t quite myself, but regardless we still had a great time! I love seeing a familiar face all the way down in Texas! She was in Dallas for the weekend as a little birthday shopping trip and luckily I had time and so did she so of course we had to meet up!! I went to Dallas and got her and then she came back to Fort Worth with me… I loved showing her TCU and filling her in on all that has been going on since I last saw her. I also got to hear all about the exciting things she has been up to. She got this phone case that says, “I am very busy!” I thought that was so fitting because she is such a busy person, so I’m glad she made it down to see me for a little bit. Funny story of the night: So we go to Macaroni Girl and we both simply wanted the kids Mac and Cheese… If you have never gotten it you should. It is extremely embarrassing to order as a 19 year old, but let me tell you, it is worth it! So right after we order the waiter says, “Could I interest you in a glass of wine?” Yes, I just ordered the kids Mac and Cheese and I want some wine to go with that. LOL what was a funny moment! Even though it was a short visit I am still thankful for Han and her little visit. It is honestly so weird not seeing people you know everyday. That has probably been the hardest adjustment. Being from the small town of Stuttgart, AR it is so weird going to eat or driving down the road and not seeing a single person you know. So I love love love visitors. Thanks for coming Hannah! I will see you in like less than two weeks… ahhhh can’t wait! Love you!!
Also, I would appreciate the prayers. I am so not used to being sick and not having my mom and dad to take good care of me… It’s not fun. Plus, I have two tests this week so I really need to get to feeling better. I don’t know why now of all times I would get sick, but I think the devil is trying to get to me and even though it is hard, I will not let that happen! So say a prayer that I get to feeling better and that I rock my tests. Speaking of those tests I should probably get to studying! Thankful for Hannah, familiar faces, and you all. I couldn’t do it without ya. Lots to be thankful for even when I don’t feel like it! Monday is over… the rest of the week is looking better guys!
Yours Truly,
Southern and Thankful
