Technically this happened yesterday, but today I really was able to reflect and man am I thankful. Yesterday, I went out to my car and what would you know, I had a flat. Yes, my luck with my car lately has been relentless. I honestly do not know what God is trying to tell me, but let me tell you Lord am I listening. Last week I had a friend with a flat so thank goodness I knew a place to get them fixed. It is not far from campus so I knew I could make it there on time. I am glad my Dad was here to make the whole thing a little less stressful. We went to this place and I was thinking, “This is Fort Worth. It will probably take forever.” Boy was I wrong! It maybe took ten minutes and on top of that, the whole thing was free for TCU students and they have been doing this for 30 years. Yes, I said free!!! This just made my day. I mean the fact that this little business does this is so nice. They are taking care of us students which is so nice since most of the time we don’t really have our families to do that! It really made me think of Stuttgart. Not that this is something anyone has ever done for me, but I could certainly see it happening. That kind of service is something I thought you’d only get in a small town, ya know? That kind of service is the kind of service we should all have. I’m not saying everything should be free, but people should really remember how much of a difference it makes when we put our heart in everything you do. Just the way they handled me and there attitude was nice. They didn’t even need to throw in the free service, but I am sure glad they did. They can guarantee that I will be going back when I get the chance. Hopefully that is a ways down the road because I cannot deal with anymore car issues, but I know I will never forget this place. I am thankful for people like this and service like that should be everywhere. Please ladies and gentlemen, remember to put your heart into everything that you do. It will make things so much better in the long run. I am so thankful for people like this and the way they handle business… with there whole heart. Remember that and remember how important it is to be thankful for that. I know I wouldn’t be the same without that kind of work ethic. Be thankful for good service and be thankful for the people who take care of you in life… They literally help you up when you feel like you’re gonna hit the ground! See what I did there? LOL
