Good afternoon all! Well it is official. The day I NEVER thought would come has come and gone. I am officially a texan and made a “new” home at Brachman Hall at TCU. I had to skip yesterday because the day was SO crazy, but let me tell you I am so thankful to be here. IT IS SO WEIRD. I feel like I should be going back home in a couple of days! No worries, I am here to stay. For those of you who didn’t know, I was unaware of my roommate until I got here yesterday and he is a pretty cool dude. So thankfully I don’t have any problems there! I live on the third floor and there is no elevator so, the move in was hot and tiring, but so worth it. My room looks great and I am very pleased with how everything turned out. After we moved everything in I went to a Rush event and meet so many great guys. One guy, we follow each other on social media, came up to me and said, “Your Southern and Thankful!” So cool to know that I am already making an impact at TCU! Id like to extend a special thank you to those of you who have prayed, texted, called, or have just thought about me. It honestly means so much knowing so many wonderful people are supporting me. Please keep it up! Classes start Monday (I’m a little nervous) and just being in a different experience is weird. I love any encouragement!
To my amazing mother and father, Thank you for being here and making these past couple of days worth it. I appreciate all your help and can’t think you enough for making my dorm perfect. It was a hard goodbye (sorry about that), but two weeks will be here in no time. I can’t wait!!! Also, thanks for taking my car back home to be fixed. You both are amazing. I am so thankful for this new time, even if at times its not easy. God give me strength and lead me in your path. I am always thankful!
Yours Truly,
Southern and Thankful

I love reading your post! Sounds like you are settled in and your room does look awesome. Have a great weekend and first day of school on Monday. College is a wonderful experience. It’s all yours – take it and run with it. Like my Mom use to say to me – “Remember who you are”! Take care sweet man. Mrs Sherry
AHHH Mrs. Sherry I love you! Thank you so much!
