I mean we all know that one of the best feelings in the world is when you get that test paper back and you have an A! Today, as many of you know, I had my first college exam in my Criminal Justice class and I was a little worried about it. Not because I thought it was going to be hard, but because I didn’t really know what to expect. Just like a lot of other things I have come into contact with in this new chapter. We did have a study guide, so that was nice, but I still wasn’t 100% sure what the test would be like. To my surprise I went in and it was basically the same as the study guide. Also to my luck, I had studied that thing and knew it like the back of my hand. I literally finished in 15 minutes and felt great about it! Unfortunately, I did not have that AHHHH moment of getting the test paper back with an A on it, but I did get to check my grade book tonight to find out that I made an A and feeling was basically the same!!! I am beyond excited! Please don’t think I am trying to brag or something, but it is just such a nice feeling and I am thankful for this of course! I wanted to do well because I wanted to have confidence when it came to taking my next tests. For me having confidence has always been an issue, but I have learned that God gives everyone a different confidence at a different time in life. My confidence has improved SO much over time, but it never hurts to have confidence., especially in a new situation. Thank you to everyone who said a prayer for me and thank you to God for helping me to do my best on the first test! It has literally made my day and I could not be more thankful for that! In life we have triumphs and we have fails. I know this and accept that on a daily basis, but what truly matters is how we learn from those. I have learned to be thankful for an A and I have learned what it means to study at the college level. I pray I can keep up the good work! Speaking of work, I should probably get back to that! Thankful for that A today and thankful for my loved ones a million miles away! (Yes, today’s happiness calls for a rhyme) Be thankful and in return you are destined for GREAT results!
