I love Friday’s in general, but Friday’s in the fall in my hometown are some of the absolute best times! I loved today because it was the transition between Thanksgiving and Christmas and I also love the Wings over the Prairie Featival. This is a huge festival that my town has to celebrate the duck season kicking off and to have a celebration of thanksgiving and all our town has to offer. Today, I was adventurous! After going to Mack’s I went to main street where they have closed it all down and opened all the carnival and the tents full of unique buys. It’s always fun to walk through because you never know what your gonna see! First off, I saw some pretty cute dogs. Second, I saw a lot of old friends. Third, I smelt the good carny food. Forth, I climbed onto the roof of Coker Hampton and realized how thankful I am for my hometown and the festival. It brings a lot of life to our town and really shows the spirit of Stuttgart. It is such a cool experience to see it, especially from high up w hen you can see it all! I was also glad to spend the day with my friends and catch up with lots of laughs! I love hearing how happy everyone is and just being together is perfect. I have really had a new prospective for this time of year, after being away, I think it has made me realize how thankful I am for it. I don’t know what I would do without it, or this festival! Be thankful for the special times in your life. Odds are, your life wouldn’t be the same if it weren’t for that special time. Huge S/O to the chamber and all the hard work they do… They make Stuttgart a great place to be and they make it a great place for others to be as we’ll. I am thankful for all the people here and I am thankful to call this place home! Just another blessing from God… Thanks man!
Yours Truly,
Southern and Thankful
